1. General requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original and not published or under consideration in other journals.

  • The manuscript should be written in clear and concise English using an academic writing style.

  • Length: 3,000–5,000 words (excluding references, tables, and figures).

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).

  • Citation style: American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition.

  • Authors must ensure informed consent and anonymization for all case reports.

2. Manuscript structure

a. Title page

  • Title (concise, informative, ≤ 15 words)

  • Full names of authors (without academic degrees)

  • Institutional affiliation(s)

  • Corresponding author’s email address

b. Abstract

  • Written in English (150–250 words)

  • Structured using the following subheadings:

    • Background

    • Case presentation

    • Intervention/management

    • Outcome

    • Conclusion

  • Include 3–5 keywords

c. Main text

The manuscript should generally follow this structure:

  1. Introduction – Background, rationale, and objective of the case.

  2. Case presentation – Detailed description of the patient case, including history, physical findings, nursing assessment, and diagnostic information.

  3. Intervention/management – Nursing care provided, clinical decision-making, and interventions applied.

  4. Outcome and follow-up – Patient outcomes, progress, and follow-up care.

  5. Discussion – Comparison with relevant literature, clinical implications, and lessons learned.

  6. Conclusion – Key insights and recommendations for nursing practice.

d. References

  • Minimum of 10 references

  • At least 70% must be from journal articles published within the last 10 years

  • Use APA 7th edition referencing style

3. Tables and figures

  • Number all tables and figures consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).

  • Provide clear titles and legends.

  • Figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

4. Ethical considerations

  • Authors must obtain informed consent from patients/legal guardians prior to publication.

  • Protect patient identity (no names, initials, hospital numbers, or identifiable photographs).

  • Include the following statement in the manuscript:

    “Written informed consent was obtained from the patient for publication of this case report.”

5. Submission process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system.

  • Each submission undergoes a double-blind peer review.

  • Authors may be required to revise manuscripts based on reviewer/editor feedback.
