Author Guidelines
1. General requirements

Manuscripts must be original and not published or under consideration in other journals.

The manuscript should be written in clear and concise English using an academic writing style.

Length: 3,000–5,000 words (excluding references, tables, and figures).
-
File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
-
Citation style: American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition.
-
Authors must ensure informed consent and anonymization for all case reports.
2. Manuscript structure
a. Title page

Title (concise, informative, ≤ 15 words)

Full names of authors (without academic degrees)

Institutional affiliation(s)

Corresponding author’s email address
b. Abstract
-
Written in English (150–250 words)
-
Structured using the following subheadings:

Background
-
Case presentation

Intervention/management
-
Outcome

Conclusion

Include 3–5 keywords
c. Main text
The manuscript should generally follow this structure:
-
Introduction – Background, rationale, and objective of the case.
-
Case presentation – Detailed description of the patient case, including history, physical findings, nursing assessment, and diagnostic information.
-
Intervention/management – Nursing care provided, clinical decision-making, and interventions applied.
-
Outcome and follow-up – Patient outcomes, progress, and follow-up care.
-
Discussion – Comparison with relevant literature, clinical implications, and lessons learned.
-
Conclusion – Key insights and recommendations for nursing practice.

At least 70% must be from journal articles published within the last 10 years

Use APA 7th edition referencing style
3. Tables and figures

Number all tables and figures consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).

Provide clear titles and legends.

Figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
4. Ethical considerations

Authors must obtain informed consent from patients/legal guardians prior to publication.
-
Protect patient identity (no names, initials, hospital numbers, or identifiable photographs).
-
Include the following statement in the manuscript:
“Written informed consent was obtained from the patient for publication of this case report.”
5. Submission process

Manuscripts must be submitted via the journal’s online submission system.

Each submission undergoes a double-blind peer review.
-
Authors may be required to revise manuscripts based on reviewer/editor feedback.
